There are days you wake up and your alive with hope and expectation and a smile is initiated to your audience that morn. Then there are days you are more conscience of how frail and human you really are. A life sentence without a pardon is the image i get. Your very well aware of the evil that can be unleashed given the right opportunity so a more sober approach is initiated. Perhaps that mindset is provoked by a selfish act or thought, a disappointment from yourself or loved one. A combination of both or am I just someone who has conflict as such. I’m not sure but when I woke up and read Psalms 36 this morning, I identified with Davids heart and soul. The first four verses are an image of the evil within man and how futile one can be. Then, he his mind reminds himself of the mercy and faithfulness of God! Such hope and pleasure come from His hand that your spirit begins to elevate your soul.
May His light, life, and goodness be your focus this day. May you remember that it’s His light that elevates your soul. He is good always and He cannot be anything else. When He sees you today, He initiates a smile not a frown. He’s good today, tomorrow. He is always there and will see that you get to where you actually want to be or rather who you like to become. He is working and never slumbers nor sleeps because you are His precious possession. Watch. Pause. Listen. Smile as He intersects with your life today. I just know He will and does more than we recognize it. He DAILY loads us with benefits as the psalmist says. It’s IN HIS LIGHT THAT YOU SEE LIGHT! In Him was LIFE and His LIGHT is what lights a man.
