Its been a bit since i journaled on this app but felt the need to begin again. Sitting here in Peru with Natalie sand Hayden in a hotel Joel recommended Sonesta. Fabulous little place in the center of Cuzco where he and Emily spent establishing a coffee shop ministry. I have been blessed to see the Malms go full circle in their ministry calling and their marriage. So proud of their journey and can trace the hand of God throughout their few years. Joel is a young man full of wisdom and has the drive to take risk (calculated) and peruse Gods plan for his family. Emily, Im just beginning to know her and I think she is a great helpmate for Joel. Full of life and adventure, she is what that young man needed to keep him steady.
In life, you may have the privilege of connecting with people that will encourage and be a constant source of strength and life to you. They are rare and they come in various forms. Usually older but every once in a bit God sends someone that reminds you of yourself a few years back and it brings such a sense of joy and inspiration to you. You feel like your not crazy for doing the things you did in pursuing His will. Taking risks, saying yes, and just having an all out adventurous spirit of faith trusting that His leading is worth following. I mean who can make up all these stories that come as a result of obeying that still voice that become such a loud presence. At times its as if His finger is upon your chest saying, “its time to go…NOW”. I love it when it happens! It’s so rewarding cause you know as you go and looking back you realize that was a crazy risk but now you see why it was necessary and much needed in your life.
If your reading this and you sense His hand upon you, KNOW THIS. It wont always make sense but remember we are not from this world but passing through this world to give expression to ONE that is to come. People need to see that life on earth is connected to eternity and what drives you is NOT the appetites of this flesh but the mandates from heavens vision.
Homework: Get heavens vision for your life and extract everything else. Follow it and you will experience that the things you have left behind will somehow cross your path.
